Our Story
Three decades of passion, dedication, and cycling excellence
Foundation
The club was founded in 1993 in Kumanovo by brothers Aleksandar and Marjan Petrovski, both prominent active cyclists and National Champions of Macedonia at the time.
In its inaugural year, the club organized the International Race - Macedonia '93, which evolved into the Tour de Macedonia in subsequent years, winning the yellow jersey in the first edition. The club also took over organizing the historic 11th of October race, held since 1945.
International Expansion
In 1994, the club traveled to France and established a partnership with the French club Louison Bobet in Rennes, participating in the Tour of Brittany.
The club actively participated in international races including Tour of Serbia, Tour of Vojvodina, Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgrade-Budapest, Belgrade-Budapest-Bratislava, Tour of Pomoravlje, Grand Prix Gemenc, and Grand Prix Chepel in Hungary.
Significant results were achieved by Marjan and Aleksandar Petrovski in the Elite category, while Slave Manevski emerged in the Junior category—later becoming a Balkan legend. Stojche Lazarov from Kochani also gained recognition on the international scene.
Peace & Balkan Success
After the 2001 conflict, the club organized a major international cycling race for Peace and Friendship between Macedonia, Albania, and Montenegro. Slave Manevski secured a stage victory, while Veli Sadiki finished third on the Kumanovo to Tetovo stage.
The club strengthened with Bulgarian cyclists and participated in the Balkan Tour, where Georgi Drumov secured second place. In the Tour of Macedonia, Vladimir Koev-Pirana won first place and the yellow jersey.
In 2006, the club participated as a mixed team in Tour of Turkey and won the yellow jersey with cyclist Ivailo Gabrovski.
Rising Stars Era
Stefan Petrovski began his career, quickly rising to prominence and becoming one of the best cyclists in Macedonian history with the most titles as National Champion.
In 2007, Stefan participated in the EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival) and became the first Macedonian cyclist to join the UCI World Cycling Center in Aigle, Switzerland, where he spent two years competing in major European races.
Sase Velichkovski became the first Macedonian to join a professional continental team (Miche, Italian-Bulgarian team). Predrag Gelevski won a sprint race in Dobrich, Bulgaria. Nikola Gjukić and Andrej Petrovski also began their careers during this period.
Macedonian Dominance
The club dominated Macedonian cycling, winning most races and National Championships. The unbeatable senior trio consisted of Stefan Petrovski, Nikola Gjukić, and Ivica Davidovski, while Denis Kolevski won all junior races across all disciplines.
Andrej Petrovski moved to Germany to continue his career, later becoming the second cyclist to join UCI World Cycling Center for three years.
Predrag Dimevski returned from South Africa and became National Champion in Road Cycling in 2013, and again in 2021.
International Growth & Termalift Partnership
2017 marked a significant year as the club signed sponsorships with Asian brands: Ranking (Helmets), Lameda (Sportswear), Winspace (Bicycles), and FLR (Shoes). The club participated in Tour of North Cyprus and Albania Tour UCI 2.2.
In 2018, the club partnered with Termalift, a prominent Kumanovo company, transforming into a Balkan competitor. Andrej Petrovski won Trophy Kuci in Montenegro (both stages, yellow, polka-dot, and white jerseys) and became National Champion in Road Cycling and Time Trial.
Andrej Petrovski repeated his success in 2019, becoming National Champion again and winning Trophy Kuci with stronger international competition. He later joined Monaco Royal Club, winning bronze at the Olympic Games for small countries.
New Generation & Historic Achievements
A new generation emerged including Aleksandar Miloshevski, Nemanja Paunovski, Valentino Petkovski, David Georgievski, Jovan Mitev, Leon Miletić, and Ivan Ilijevski. The club signed with Kipeo, Yaban chains, Santic, and Sidebike.
